An indigenous race to the deserts of Mellus, the Sand Sailors were enslaved by the Katarious. The Katarious forced the Sand Sailors to create a way to cross The Great Sand Sea.

After the rebellion, the Sand Sailors continue to operate their ships across the Great Sand Sea for a reasonable fee. The main harbor point is located in Dark Haven and they offer routes to Pegasus Keep, The Demon Path Desert, The Kashtilum Desert and The Green Fire Desert.
